Validation Analyst

Reports To: Manager, CDMS. Validation Services or Designee

SECTION 1: Position SUMMARY Provide testing support specializing in test script writing, execution, and documentation.

• Travel (approximately 2%) domestic and/or international • •Conduct testing activities according to relevant ICON SOP's and appropriate regulations.
• "Write and execute formal test scripts and complete associated documentation and ensure test results are reported accurately.
• *Complete test script writing and execution for moderate to complex systems.
• *Function as testing lead for assigned projects including, but not limited to, planning the test effort and write test scripts ensuring system performs as intended.
• Communicate with test lead and/or team regarding system testing progress and issues.
• Complete assigned tasks within budget and time line constraints and report any quality issues to lead or manager in a timely manner.
• • Liaise with project manager in the testing and implementation of systems.
• "'In the role of mentor, assist and guide new personnel during their initial training period.
• •Participate in internal projects such as process improvement and proof of concept projects.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.

SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS (List requirements in bullet format. • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. • US/LATAM/CAN: minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or other relevant experience.
• EU/APAC: prior relevant experience In software testing or other relevant experience.
• Successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• liaise professionally with team members and system users.
• Lead a testing team and coordinate all aspects of testing.
• Perform assigned tasks with little or no supervision and can supervise tasks of more junior team members.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications and techniques.
• Experience of the software development life cycle.
• Understanding of database concepts.
• Experience in providing training in CDMS validation activities

• Bachelor's degree, or local equivalent, in information systems, science or related discipline or relevant experience required.
