Accounts Payable Associate

As the Accounts Payable Associate you will process all payment requests such as invoices, check requests, charge requests, and employee expense reports with accuracy and efficiency.  You will need to enter data from invoices and purchase orders into databases and be able to process a large number of invoices with a high degree of accuracy.  You will have the opportunity to leverage your experience as part of a skilled and professional team. 

You would need an administrative, accounting/financial background, or related experience in a similar role.  You should be proficient in Microsoft Office software (especially Excel), be comfortable with entering information into databases, have knowledge of general financial, accounting, and business principles, and be able to process invoices and purchase orders. The ability to write and speak fluent English is required. 

Role Requirements

·         An understanding of accounting or financial principles is preferred as well as a degree in a related field is preferred.

·         A minimum of 3 years of experience an accounts payable environment

·         Experience with processing data such as travel and expense reports and service invoices such as telephone and maintenance bills, and other operative bills with accuracy

·         General knowledge of windows package including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel in order to maintain data and create reports

·         Ability to work with a large volume of invoices

·         High level of accuracy and speed on data entry is a must.

·         Working well as part of a collaborative team
