ICON’s Pricing and Market Access (P&MA) Group is within the commercialization division, ICO, of ICON plc.  ICON PMA specializes in innovative strategies to identify, capture and communicate value for companies in the biopharmaceutical arena. We are uniquely positioned to deliver expert guidance in integrated pricing, reimbursement and market access strategy across markets due to our depth of experience in payer systems, analytical approach to solving clients’ challenges and senior leadership.

Overview of the Role

Responsible for assisting in the daily completion of project work focused on providing targeted recommendations for pricing pharmaceutical products to ensure optimal patient access and reimbursement.  Participate in the development and implementation of primary and secondary research tools including but not limited to the creation of qualitative research discussion guides, quantitative research survey guides, and the collection and distillation of data from these tools. Have high visibility to a number of clients from large pharmaceutical and smaller biotech companies and will actively participate in team-oriented discussions and decisions. ICON P&MA looks to develop the following 5 core consulting skills in staff members: Problem Solving, Market Insight & Functional Expertise, Communication (Written and Verbal), Client Relationship Management, and Team / Project Management

Role Requirements

• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry would be an advantage; interest in the industry a must
• Experience in data analysis and excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
• No prior experience needed with a bachelor's degree (or local equivalent).
• Undergraduate or graduate degree (combination science and business degree is a plus).
