Are you an experienced Application Support Analyst III looking for a new challenge within a company which will offer you a strong support network and an inspiring working environment? If so, then this is the job for you. The successful candidate will support applications and appropriate project specifications.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Perform application installations to include setup of users, setup and configuration of systems and other support tasks
- Perform troubleshooting of application problems with little supervision
- Provide assistance to the IT Development team when needed
- Perform some reviews of installations and patches
- May be required to be on-call to support after hours issues as they arise
- Ability to mentor junior team members on Application tasks
- Ability to interact with customers with little guidance
- Ability to complete tasks on time with little supervision
- Intermediate level of understanding of Information Technology applications
- Must be able to complete individually incidents and service requests within defined SLA
- Liases with Application Vendor when required.
- Responsible for pro-actively looking at ways to reduce number of support calls.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Excellent organizational and written skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels in our organization are essential.
- Technical writing experience required and Strong Experience in SQL;
- SQL, JAVA, Java Scripting, Unix, VB, Powershell, Oracle Databases, Windows Servers, Networking, Middleware SQL, JAVA, Java Scripting, Unix, VB, Powershell, Oracle Databases, Windows Servers, Networking, Middleware
- A minimum of 5 years in an application support or other computer support services.
- Ability to manage support for up to 4 applications
- A working knowledge of the system development life cycle and general application support standards
EDUCATION
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related area preferred
