Are you interested in performing oversight and/or preparing, performing quality checks, and submitting expedited and periodic reports for all types of safety events and other medically-related project information under mentorship of a Drug Safety Manager or above.

Drug Safety Coordinator role within ICON: 

The Drug Safety Coordinator will act as a safety reporting lead for multiple global projects, providing management/project management support, liaising with sponsor, and management of timelines and budgets. The DSC will assist with the creation, coordination, and/or delivery of training to Safety Reporting Group staff. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for safety reporting (pre-marketing, post-marketing, device and drug) and/or other medically related information per assigned tasks and project specific procedures.

To succeed you will need:

We are seeking candidates with a medical/science background (nursing preferred) and/or bachelor’s degree or local equivalent. Minimum of 3 years related experience in Pharmacovigilance/Clinical Research. To be successful you will be expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Access) and advanced safety database proficiency. Have good communication skills, be fluent in written and verbal English, detail-oriented and have the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
