ECG Specialist (Part-Time)

Location - Warrington, PA

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. The ECG Specialist will be responsible for daily ECG quality review, ECG Redaction, site technical assessment and provides clinical support to Clinical Endpoints Committee and Imaging Operations.

Overview of the Role

• Provides ECG Quality Assurance according to study specifications
• Perform ECH Redaction in accordance to the study specific guidelines
• Works directly with Core Lab Operations and Document Management providing ECG expertise
• Works directly with Project Managers to support client specific activities
• Communication with client, sites and Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to deliver high quality standards and strive for excellence
• Communication with Site technical personnel
• Conducts site Imaging Manual Training calls in support of study site training
• Serve as Monitor for Independent Analysis Sessions
• Assist's Project Manager with the development of project specific Procedure Manual
• Participate in project team meetings providing ECG QC status
• Quality Control of Offsite Assessments/Blinded Reads
• Updates and maintains Project Tracking Logs as required
• Mentoring of peers as required for cross training
• Technical support for business development 
• To undertake other reasonable related duties as assigned
• Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.

Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible EKG Technologist or related field, or local equivalent
• Certified EKG Technologist Preferred
• Associates Degree, or local equivalent, in life sciences or technology, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 10 years prior relevant clinical experience
• Trained in Good Clinical Practices
• Trained in Good Documentation Practices
• Excellent Organizational, Documentation and Communication skills
• Proficiency in business computer skills
• Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel.  Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Drivers' license.
