About the Finance Senior Manager, Commercial Business Partnering role within ICON:
The role of Finance Senior Manager, Commercial Business Partnering, focuses on the Commercial Reporting function to financially support and enhance existing and new customer relationships over the long-term.
Commercial Reporting serves as the primary financial contact for Sponsors on all business and financial matters (excluding Contracting activities), and manages the active study portfolio primarily through custom financial reporting as required by the Sponsor. The Senior Manager will oversee a team of analysts and acts as the primary finance contact with the Sponsor and internal strategic account leads. Further, the role will also focus on the development of a financial modelling function to support Sponsors with ongoing cash flow needs.
Manage Client Financial Reporting and Unit Tracker Management.

To succeed you will need:
You will need a Bachelor’s Degree, or local equivalent, in related field or equivalent experience along with 8+ years of experience with progressive increases in responsibility in finance and/or business consulting. Fluent understanding of key aspects of clinical research, including program design, program management, metrics, unit tracker derivation, pricing, and project budget management/profit measurement. Proficient and broad financial capabilities around program or project budgeting, profit measurement, sensitivity analysis, revenue recognition for clinical research, and client reporting. Proven ability to interact with senior sponsor executives; capability to think strategically, solve problem, understand customer needs and develop solutions and presentations to resolve them. Demonstrated ability to attract, mentor and train talented commercial and financial staff.
