About the Senior Technical Reporting Specialist within ICON: 

The Senior Technical Reporting Specialist will review lab results data in the laboratory system and enter performing lab ranges into client customized systems. Review lab reports for accuracy by comparing the lab report to the requisition form; identify discrepancies on Laboratory reports and normal ranges.  Troubleshoots the discrepancy and makes appropriate corrections and update lab report with answers to any queries according to the response from the clinical sites.

The Senior Technical Reporting Specialist will perform a quality check on reference ranges by reviewing a reference range report, determines if units are correct in comparison with a list of acceptable units, and use technical knowledge to determine if reference ranges are appropriate.

To succeed you will need:

You will need to possess Bachelors degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Sciences/Biology, and have a Minimum 5 years’ experience in Medical Technology/Clinical Lab Sciences in the field of Chemistry and Hematology.  Will require at least 2 years of experience with virtual lab results in a laboratory system along with the ability to deal with high stress, exceptional analytical/problem solving skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, good communication skills, and attention to detail.  Knowledge of MS Outlook and laboratory systems.
