Manager Statistical Programming
Manager SAS programmer analysis, coordinate work activities and manage time lines for direct reports. Provide input into all department time lines; serve as a liaison with other departments. Assist in the operations of the Statistical Programming Department; provide programming oversight and direction to direct reports. Assist in managing the daily operations of the Statistical Programming Department including acting as a primary contact, managing entire departments in directors absence and represent department at client meetings.
 
Job Functions/Responsibilities
Coordinate timelines and allocate and resources for all programming activities for direct reports. Participate in department planning meetings
Assist analyst in developing best strategy for completing analysis in a timely manager
Assist in Writing/maintaining department guidelines
To evaluate case reports forms ( design phase ) Statistical Analysis plans, software specifications, QC specifications, database and audit specifications.
Recruit, interview and recommend of hiring Statistical Programmers
To serve as a primary department contact and manage entire department in the absence of the director
Develop analysis tools, including those outside the SAS language to expedite the analysis process and provide technical support to the SAS programmers
Assume all responsibilities of a Senior Statistical Analyst
Implement pharmaceutical industry CIDISC standards
Provide mentorship to all department staff
Qualifications/Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or scientific discipline
A minimum of 3 years management/lead and 8 years SAS programming experience and pharmaceutical experience
Familiarity with multiple software products and platforms required
Demonstrated leadership experience
Prior experience participating in the production of NDAs, SNDAs PLA or PMAs
Understanding of data structures, standard software and implementation
Knowledge of the drug development process (Phase I through IV) and general regulatory requirements
Ability to serve as a company representative
Good verbal and written communication
