Scientific Affairs Specialist II

If you have background in Scientific Affairs and experience managing internal and external client relationships, learn how you can play a key role as a Scientific Affairs Specialist within ICON Laboratory Services (ILS) which is dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and the associate services for clinical trials.   

About the Scientific Affairs Specialist role within ICON: 

The Scientific Affairs Specialist Lead the Global Scientific Affairs (GSA) group with locating and interacting with all referral labs to include lab certification, Master Services Agreements and Statement of Work Documentation generation and execution and generation of database for GSA and other ILS departments to utilize for referral lab management.

The Scientific Affairs Specialist will coordinate and generate metrics on referral labs performance.  Coordinate efforts for reference tools to obtain technical information for new assays as well as obtaining package inserts and pricing from internal resources for new in-house assay validation efforts.

On behalf of Global Scientific Affairs the Scientific Affairs Specialist will attend meetings with both internal and external clients.

To succeed you will need:

You will need a Bachelors’ degree in Medical Technology or equivalent along with a minimum of 7 year’s relevant experience. Will have knowledge of clinical laboratory concepts and terminology and ability to utilize MS Word and Excel.
