Scientist I role within ICON: 

ICON has a strong reputation in our approaches to clinical development.   We apply scientific and operational excellence across all phases of clinical trial outsourcing services for our clients.   We work with top pharmaceutical organizations on emerging therapeutic areas which include but are not limited to Oncology, Vaccines, CNS, Cardiovascular and Pain.  We are presently in over 40 countries with over 80 offices worldwide and over 10K employees globally. 

The Scientist I will perform bioanalytical/chemical method development duties under supervision and method validation for the quantification of Biomarkers, NCE and NBE in tissues, biological fluids or chemical matrices. Perform assays for routine batch analysis of Biomarkers, NCE and NBE in biological fluids/chemical matrix involving simple to complex analytical techniques. Perform laboratory work to GXP standard.

To succeed you will need:

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Medical Technology.

To be successful you will need to excel independently as well as in a collaborative environment, perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced laboratory, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, follow direction and maintain accurate records, analyze and present data, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and author technical and regulatory documents.
