Senior Principal - Health Economics

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Lead Health Economist looking to step up into a leadership role.

The Principal - Health Economics, will support the North American HE practice Lead, in taking senior managerial responsibility for the department and in particular for all aspects surrounding evidence generation and value demonstration (systematic review, evidence synthesis, value dossier preparation).

ICON plc Health Economics undertake consultancy projects for a range of international clients in the pharmaceutical or medical device sectors, and is respected globally for the quality of their work and methodological innovations. The group also maintains links with high profile academics, with staff regularly presenting and teaching at international conferences. The team is highly respected in the field of health technology assessment (HTA) for both the quality of our work and methodological innovations.

Role Requirements  

• A Master’s degree or PhD in health economics, public health, statistics, epidemiology, or another related discipline. 
• Significant relevant industry/ consultancy experience; where consultancy is preferred
• Demonstrable experience of people management
• Demonstrable experience of business development
• Demonstrable experience of relevant scientific capability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• High self-motivation
• Leadership potential
