Role Overview

As the Sr. Programmer you will be responsible for the creation, analysis and peer review of operational metrics, reports and dashboards for strategic clients, as well as for several Key ICON processes.

This role will involve working closely with Clients and Internal teams to understand their requirements and to identify solutions to ensure they can function at the level they require

Key responsibilities

Be able to lead or be a representative on initiatives, discussions or issues and contribute own ideas on behalf of the CRPM team to improve reporting, dashboard and metric solutions across strategic partnerships and ICON.

Be a change advocate, support the team through change, maintain a positive attitude, contribute in and drive discussions in team meetings.

Demonstrate a broader knowledge of clinical research through working and supporting other functions

Key Skills

Experience in a reporting/programming environment, involving data modelling and multiple data sources.

OBIEE, Spotfire, SAS,  Python, SQL, Excel VBA, APEX experience- desirable.

Analytical Problem Solving: Able to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternate solutions; use logic, data and problem solving abilities.

Decisiveness: Able to make decisions on available information and take action.

High Energy, assertive, energetic and a self-starter

Experience within a Clinical Research or Pharmaceutical environment.
