About the VP, Global Project Management (Cardiovascular) at ICON:

ICON is seeking a Vice President of Global Project Management to provide leadership for, and oversight of, ICON’s evolving portfolio of Phase II-IIIb drug development services. This role will serve as the Global Therapeutic Head for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases (Program Management). This is a fantastic opportunity to build excellence in Project Management with a leading provider to the Clinical Research industry.

Oversight to the project management teams including all that are delivered by ICON and oversight of any of those that are delivered through ICON’s teams within these therapeutic areas. Responsibility for delivery of project deliverables, client relationship management and client satisfaction, commercial growth of the overall business unit and also financial accountability.

To succeed you will need:

The successful candidate will possess an educational degree with extensive experience conducting and overseeing clinical trials and ICH GCP. You will need extensive direct line management experience within a global environment while managing Director level staff. Project and Program management skills, commercial awareness and program finance and operational P&L experience. Successful candidate will be proficient in drug development with significant experience working in Cardio. Ability to travel at least 30% internationally and preferably in close proximity to a major ICON office.
