3D Generalist – Fixed Term Contract

Location: Limerick/ Dublin

FIRECREST, an award winning division of ICON Plc, is currently seeking to recruit a 3D Generalist to join the team on a 6 – 12 month fixed term contract.

As a 3D Generalist with FIRECREST, you will join a team of 5 3D animators creating award winning 3D animations for use in clinical trials. You will work alongside medical experts to produce medically accurate and visually engaging content for our clinical trials. Prior experience within this field is not necessary as the team will support you with training. We need you to bring your first class modelling, animation, lighting, and texturing and compositing skills with you!

The Role:

• Using our main production 3D applications to create 3D mechanism of Action animations for use in our training.
• You will work closely with our team of Medical Experts to create detailed storyboards outlining how an investigational drug works within the body.

The Candidate:

• 3-4 Years minimum working in a related 3D Graphics Role
• Diploma or local equivalent in a relevant Graphics and/or 3D Animation course.
• Expert 3D knowledge in 3D Max and/or LightWave3D or XSI
• Expert Knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Skills should include Modelling, Texturing, Lighting, Compositing
• Ability to produce from concept to finish highly professional looking detailed animated videos
• Excellent Organisational and Time Management skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Ability to function within a highly professional team environment
• Self-motivated and pro-active
