We are adding to our current ICON Direct to Patient Contact team in the US! This is a full-time, onsite position with responsibility to provide support services (logistical, technical and administrative) and perform inbound and outbound contacts with patients. The position includes working week-end and evening hours to ensure full coverage of our patient call center operations.
This dynamic department is providing services to improve patient recruitment, retention, and support in clinical studies. Our activities include direct interactions with patients including contacting patients, study support, collection of data such as quality of life, compensations, and reimbursements or travel concierge.
Daily Responsibilities will include:
- Performs phone calls, e-mails, letters, etc. as dictated by study protocol and plans.
- Perform logistical and administrative tasks, manage study material, documents printing and shipping.
- Update contact databases and status reports along the project and performs quality controls.
- Assist in the creation of useful documents and plans for assigned projects.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is provided and appropriately filed/archived
To be successful in the role you will need:
- High-school diploma and/or GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year work experience
- Experience within a medical office, CRO/Pharmaceutical or administrative setting is helpful.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer) and other software applications and databases.
- A standout colleague with excellent social skills and strong communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative under tight timelines.
- Positive attitude with excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
