At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Collections Specialist to join the team in our global HQ in Dublin 18.

This is a meaningful role at ICON. As a Collections Specialist, you will handle the collection of accounts which are overdue ensuring that the accounts in arrears are minimal remains below the agreed global target.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Daily posting of Cash and Cheque receipts.
• Collection of outstanding invoices for assigned clients. This includes sending out monthly statements, updating information in Oracle and reconciliations.
• Working towards Cash Targets.
• Posting intercompany Cash transactions for Cash received in other Operating Units.
• Maintaining and updating the monthly Provision Schedules.
• Month End activities inclusive of closing and re-opening Oracle AR modules and running AR reports.
• Preparing Month End reports for AR.
• Assisting/ preparing Cash Forecasts for Treasury Department.
• Keep the Credit Control Supervisor informed of any collection issues within the assigned ledger, which require attention.
• Ad-hoc work as required.

To be successful you will need:

• Leaving certificate or equivalent secondary school education.
• 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role within Collections.
• Outstanding Excel skills. If you have Oracle Financials that is a great advantage.
• Customer focused with forward-thinking people skills.
