Regional Director Project Management RWE (Real-World Evidence)

Location: Any EU ICON Office

ICON is seeking an experienced professional with demonstrated People management and Project leadership expertise in actively driving teams to successful project delivery. You will serve as the European Regional lead for the RWE Project Management team (30 plus staff), heading up operational study teams responsible for key strategic clients. This is an incredible opportunity to develop and elevate new business opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.

A critical aspect for the EU Regional lead will be to motivate, develop and oversee the professional development for Project Directors, Project Managers and involved staff.   You will be responsible for ensuring operational metrics, KPIs, cycle times and financial performance are successful for your assigned teams and client portfolios.  In support of achieving operational delivery, you will be responsible for identifying and leading process improvement initiatives for your region as well as in alignment with the global framework for ICON’s RWE team.   

 Education and Experience:

You should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) with extensive experience in Late Phase Project Management and strong people management capabilities.

You will need significant relevant experience within a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment including strong experience of project management and line management along with late phase experience.
