Feasibility Manager

ICON is looking for an experienced feasibility manager to lead and manage the process of clinical project feasibility as a part of our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and lead the process of clinical Feasibility planning to support the proposal and project teams as a technical Feasibility expert to our internal and external clients

To provide strategic input to Business Development Operations to Sponsors through Bid Defence and supervision of other feasibility associates during Bid Defence (or potential preferred partner) meetings

· To provide handover to awarded site identification team regarding relevant feasibility strategy proposed during RFP process.

• To perform as a functional lead with accountability for delivery of high quality Feasibility stand-alone services (awarded, contracted)

• To perform as and support the Feasibility team as an expert in a specific area

• Be aligned to expertise development for a specific clinical indication area as much as possible with the actual conduct of relevant feasibility service.

• To undertake essential supervisory functions for Feasibility Associates. This may include one or all of the following: Mentorship / training; Line (people) management; hiring and performance appraisal feedback.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in a life science,communication, and/or scientific discipline.
• Substantial international experience in clinical drug development across range of therapeutic areas.
• Experience in managing teams, with proven responsibility for delivery to timelines, ideally this will include the ability to deliver recruitment based activities.

• Competent computer skills – intermediate skills in MS Word, Power point,advanced Excel skills.

• Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail, with strong negotiation skills. Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness.

• Ability to conduct literature searches and interrogate external databases

• Highly developed organizational skills, problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize time sensitive tasks.

• Ability to work independently while supporting a team, strong team player, with excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Have the ability to make decisions and to progress projects.

• Solid clinical operational background with good commercial awareness.

• Excellent communication skills: written and oral. Have the ability to produce reports to a high standard and review the quality and contents of reports produced by the team. Fluency in English is essential.
