Job Description 

• Demonstrated  ability in being a participant for projects based on IT initiatives and ownership of key tasks/milestones to achieve a successful implementation/closure
• Serve as a deeply skilled and knowledgeable resource within the Security Operations technology
• Proven track record of advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting skills to resolve problems. Planning,  coordination.  and  implementation of  enterprise  network and  unified communications installations. upgrades, routine maintenance and vendor-supplied  patches in accordance with established Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures.
• Participate on interconnecting the SIEM tool with sources of security incidents – e.g. logs from servers, network and security devices, Vulnerability Management system, Antivirus system,
• Develop  and  maintain  standard operating  procedures  (SOPs},  Installation Qualifications (IQs), training materials, and documentation adhering to industry best practices.
• Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels; provide performance statistics and reports.
• Prioritize and respond to Service Desk tickets as appropriate. Documents known issues and provides solutions to proactively reduce service desk tickets.
• Provide timely response to escalations in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs); act as technical escalation and resource to junior team members.
• Manage enterprise network and unified communications infrastructure.
• Participate in the design and review of all network and unified communications systems.
• Participate in key  process improvements as they relate to  the core network and UC  services environment.
• Provide off hours support through the use of a rotating on call procedure QRadar, Splunk, etc.
• Experience with Vulnerability scanners like Nessus, MVM, Qualys, etc.
• Knowledge of Networking protocols and technologies, e.g. TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers, 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server
• Experience with security patching Microsoft Windows servers & antivirus products

Beneficial qualifications: 

• IT Security Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, OSCP, etc.are a plus
• University degree in Information Technology, ideally IT Security related
