Learning & Development Specialist - Client and Quality Team

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will join a global team of inspiring learning professionals. You will be responsible for partnering with one of ICON's largest clients. Delivering specialized training to clinical trial experts remotely or traveling to deliver training in person monthly.

The Role:

• Working in partnership with ICON's clients, you will identify team training needs.
• Leading the development and delivery of bespoke learning programs to meet identified skills gaps.
• Taking the lead on ICON University learning interventions and projects.
• Collaborating with the ICON U team to manage and schedule the coordination and delivery of learning programs.
• Design, develop and implement self-paced and blended online learning content and solutions.
• Consistently evaluate the quality and efficiency of training programmes and act on feedback received.
• Actively see opportunities for continuous improvement in the design and delivery of programmes.
• Partner with external vendors as required.

What you will need:

• We are seeking to hire a qualified Learning and Development Practitioner who has in-depth experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, OR
• An experienced Clinical Research Associate/ Clinical Trial Manager/ Clinical Trail Assistant/ Study Start-Up Associate / Lab Project Manager or any other role with a focus on clinical trials who is looking to move their career to a learning position.
• Proven experience of training or mentoring clinical trial team members.
• A brilliant communicator, you will thrive delivering and facilitating classroom and virtual style training to groups of diverse attendees.
• A trusted advisor approach with the ability to develop long lasting business relationships.
• Enjoys and invests in self-development.
• Fluent English is essential to be successful in the role.
• Has the ability to travel one week each month to a LATAM base - when it is safe to do so
