At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to join the team in our Leopardstown, Dublin 18 location.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain planning, analysis and logistics reporting for internal and external customers surrounding logistics study budget management.
• Support vendor assessment and management activities as required including developing and maintaining vendor management metrics.
• Establish and optimise tools to manage ICON logistics financial and operational reports.
• Work with the proposal, contracts and project management teams to develop metrics and reporting requirements in support of ICON laboratory services.
• Review and reduce monthly unbilled logistics spend
• Address and investigate Trax queries and issues.
• Develop and maintain reports that track shipping lane trends to ensure ICON is always getting best in market prices from our vendors.
• Perform ad hoc client analyses to assist in client review and bid defence meetings.
• Any other duties as assigned by Senior Management

The Person:

• Bachelors degree or local equivalent in either a life sciences, logistics or related discipline.
• Prior relevant industry experience - Min 2 years' experience
• The ability to make informed decisions in an emergency event
• Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL (MACRO writing), PowerPoint and Access.
• Ability to quickly identify, relate and analyze large volumes of data from disparate data sources
• Due to the nature of this position, it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Drivers' license.
