- Provide medical leadership on project teams
- Provide medical/scientific consultation and therapeutic expertise
- Oversee study specific medical/safety monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards as well as ICON and Sponsor SOPs
- Represent the Medical Affairs Department in business development activities
- Provide functional/departmental oversight in the absence of Sr. Medical Director I Vice
- President, Medical Affairs
- Represent ICON Medical Affairs at internal and external teleconferences and meetings
- Medical Degree and broad based post-graduate experience or local equivalent
- Medical board certification in Mexico
- Demonstration of professional demeanor, judgment and discernment in interaction with Clients, colleagues, and other ICON staff.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of staff from internal and external departments, vendors, and sponsors.
- Three years (minimum) of industry experience or other equivalent experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time or as required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver's license.
