Manager, Finance Business Partnering

Location: Dublin

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hardworking accountant to join ICON’s highly professional and experienced Finance department.

The Role

The finance business partnering group provides financial and consulting services designed to add value, direction and leadership to the business. The team plays an integral part in enabling ICON to accomplish its objectives by bringing a best in class approach to evaluating its finances and strategy.

Role responsibilities include:

Develop, prepare and maintain monthly financial forecasts including budget reconciliations and supporting analysis for the business unit.
Analyze business unit financial results and key performance indicators including the preparation of monthly reporting packages and commentary.
Working with business unit management to develop and build annual budgets.
Make recommendations to business unit management for optimizing financial performance and achieving financial targets.
Work with operational teams in preparation of business cases for program of capital investment.
Finance lead for ad hoc project work in business unit.
Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers on our commitment to people, clients and performance.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CPA etc.) with 3+ years’ PQE industry experience.
Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills.
An ability to distil and summarize large, complex data sets.
Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with and influence a variety of personnel across the organization including senior management.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel & PowerPoint
Experience using Oracle ERP/ Hyperion / Essbase an advantage
