Principal Medical Writer

Are you an ambitious experienced Medical Writer? Do you have a reputation for being a motivational leader? If so we would love to hear from you.

As an ambassador both internally and externally for ICON’s Medical Writing department, you will be responsible for assisting the management team to achieve and maintain the highest standards of excellence across all departmental project activities.

We are looking for a proven track record of operational excellence across a broad spectrum of medical writing activities, focusing particularly on regulatory writing, preferably gained from roles within either a CRO or pharmaceutical company. You’ll have a complete understanding of operational procedures, including IND, NDA, ISS/ISE and CTD.

We need you to;

• Lead and guide the writing team, to mentor and share your deep understanding to help develop and grow those around you.
• Interact directly with clients on the scientific and technical aspects of their projects
• Participate in internal audits
• Act as a senior representative at bid defence meetings and in the development of new writing services.

You will be joining an upbeat, ambitious and friendly team at ICON, with a history of winning repeat business from clients for stand-alone services due to the quality of our work.
