• *Travel (approximately 25%) domestic and/or international.
• *Responsible for financial analyses and support of assigned portfolio
of projects. Accurate analysis without supervision is expected for less complex
studies. Accurate analysis with limited supervision is expected for more
complex studies. Support of projects according to overall departmental needs
and portfolio of projects in achieving MDDR goals and objectives. Provide
innovative solutions to meet contractual financial obligations.
• Contribute to overall strategic process improvements and
implementation for department.
• *Apply the knowledge of project finances in the analysis of assigned
studies.
• Fully proficient in understanding contract type and project
performance with regard to timelines and resourcing. • Provide strategic input
in negotiating and finalizing contracts and change orders.
• Proficient in systems and tools and ICON’s applications to efficiently
and accurately analyze project data i.e. Planview, ICObid, ICOST, Oracle
Financial, Compass, etc.

• *Conduct project analysis meeting and financial analysis of assigned
projects to draw conclusions from information gathered and recommend solutions
to address gaps that has an impact on the project scheduling, cost, scope and
resourcing
• This includes reviewing, with the Project Manager,
budget-to-plan-to-actual analysis of the project contract and supporting bid
grid(s), to include (but not limited to): analysis of project resource
allocation, project expenses, contract payment schedule versus client
invoicing, units completed, or any other financial metrics for that project.
• Proactively identify specific project performance related to timelines
and resourcing, for studies with minimal supervision.
• Identify workable solutions base on analysis and implements best
course of action with minimal guidance.
• Conduct the project analysis meeting for assigned studies and
communicate all issues, decisions and action items through minutes, project
summary reports, and escalation meetings.
• Develop innovative proposal on the analysis of complex global studies
and implements best course of action with minimal guidance
• *Ability to work independently and properly prioritize work based on
own judgement with minimal supervision. Ability to work within consideration of
guidelines and with Manager’ approval. Guides others in defining priorities,
breaks down goals into manageable action plans. Often exceeds project
deliverables.
• *Liaise with finance and operational teams for financial matters as
requested with minimal supervision. Financial matters include but not limited
to invoicing, revenue recognition, sponsor’ questions.
• *Collaborate with Project Managers and study teams to create,
maintain, and update project schedules within systems identified.
• Can identify specific developmental needs and implement action plans
with no supervision. • Assist junior staff analysis on of projects.
• *Assist others within the ICO Management team with departmental
analysis and reporting
• *Complete reports and tracking in a timely and consistent manner with
concise, accurate information in various systems and tracking tools on
portfolio of projects. Ensure proper documentation and record tracking of study
meetings, decisions, interventions and escalations.
• *Build relationships with project, sales, proposals, contracts,
resource management and finance teams.
• *Participation in study meetings, hand-over meetings, project review
meetings, and close out meetings.
• *Prepare monthly, sponsor, departmental, cross study and ad hoc
management reports as requested with minimal supervision.
• Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects
as assigned by management team.
• *Provide information, analysis and recommendations for Sponsor
requested and Sr. Management requested reports with supervision. Keep Senior
Management informed of project status in relations to financial issues and
study concerns.
• Ability to anticipate the client's (internal and external) needs and
respond to it without prompting
• Takes action to achieve goals and targets; Is consistently reliable in
delivering time sensitive demands and ongoing commitments with minimal
supervision.
• Is able to contribute to the goal setting and objectives of the MDDR
team. Able to monitor progress and provide support to the team.
• Consistently received positive feedback of work from PM, Director, VP
and sponsor
