ICON is currently seeking an Early Phase Project Manager to join the team. You will act as an ICH GCP and ICON/Client SOPs/WPs authority and quality compliance advisor on all stages of study set-up, monitoring and study close-out for assessment and oversight of clinical quality compliance processes for monitoring activities.

The role:

• To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, dedications and goals
• Provide project management leadership to cross-functional teams by integrating, facilitating, coordinating, and handling all activities related to the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and closeout of assigned projects.
• Responsible for leading low to medium complexity projects to ensure integration, coordination and consistency of processes throughout project life cycle.
• To coordinate and run the activities of individual projects and team members in a manner that ensures all budgetary requirements, study timeframes and targets are met.

• As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and build a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
• Travel (approximately 35%) domestic and/or international
• Lead projects in accordance with the contract and in adherence with ICON SOPs, ICH GCP and appropriate regulations, and to liaise with other department managers as necessary to achieve this
• Run portfolio consisting of mainly EPS-only, multi-service, single center projects and the overall process of planning, scheduling and controlling the project from initiation to project closeout to ensure timely completion of the project.

You will have:

• Prior meaningful experience in the administration of Clinical Trials in a CRO environment or equivalent and/or prior relevant experience in project management training and comprehensive understanding of project management principles and applications.
• Thorough knowledge of ICH GCP and relevant regulations for the conduct of clinical trials.
• Ability to co-ordinate all aspects of study and project management.
• Have the potential to successfully lead project team(s). Strong customer service and presentation skills required.
• Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, and advanced computer and computer application skills (Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool).
• BA/BS, or local equivalent, in the life sciences, nursing, or local equivalent preferred
