Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Project Manager I to join our central laboratory Project Management Team at our Global HQ in Dublin 18.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

As a Project Manager I, you will play a key role within ICON Central Labs by ensuring overall client happiness. As Project Manager, our client’s main contact for ICON's Central Laboratories’ services and providing day-to-day management of studies. As a trusted partner, you will attend client meetings to provide project updates.

The Role:

• Working cross functionally you will be the trusted business partner liaising regularly with clients and other ICON team.
• By crafting a communication and critical issue plan you will ensure that all communication guidelines are clear and maintained throughout the study
• Ensuring that all study specific documentation is recorded and filed appropriately.
• Reviewing all protocols and amendments and handling the completion the Clinical Laboratory Worksheet and communicate information as appropriate.
• Enter protocol parameter information into PACS/ICOLIMS for new and or amended protocols, prepare and QC clinical materials and when possible, partner with other departments for the preparation of study specific materials.
• Dedicatedly monitor study budget, set the timelines for and monitor the progress of shipment requests for storage samples and verify data.
• Provide clients with study management reports.
• Close the protocol as per ICL procedures this includes facilitating Database Lock and coordinating with internal departments.

Experience requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience, with one or more years of experience working in a clinical laboratory, clinical trials, project management, customer management or account management role.
• Have a PhD in a Life Sciences or related discipline.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Super organised and remains calm in taking care of multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines.
• Passionate about developing a career within Project Management.
