Position Summary
Design and deliver CRA learning initiatives, including the identification of and/or development of new curricula and programmes to meet the needs of ICON's overall business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development, revision, delivery, documentation and coordination of a range of CRA specific learning interventions to meet identified skill gaps for internal and external customers, for assigned programmes/ workstreams

- *Act as trusted partner within HR and to Business Leaders alike, in the identification of needs and development of generic and bespoke interventions, within programmes/ workstreams of responsibility
- Lead internal global ICON University learning interventions, workstreams or interdepartmental projects as assigned, owning the end to end development and delivery of same
- Coordinate, schedule or direct the work of other L&D specialists in a matrixed environment, and mentor and train other trainers
- Manage the scheduling, coordination and delivery of a range of learning interventions. Credibly work with and add value to audiences up to senior management level
- Design, develop and implement self-paced and blended online learning content and solutions
- *Proactively Evaluate and assess the effectiveness and quality of assigned learning interventions and act on outcomes and feedback to ensure interventions keep pace with and anticipate the business need
- *Build strong working relationships with relevant business leaders associated with programmes of work and subject matter experts
- Identify and manage suitable external vendors, as appropriate, to develop and/ or facilitate learning interventions
- Proactively Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the design and delivery of Programmes, act on and share best practices
- Manage the budget associated with assigned work, as applicable
- Advise and support the design and successful implementation of Organisation Development and Effectiveness programmes and projects, as assigned.
- Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, as assigned
- Perform additional activities and responsibilities related to the job role and support of HR activities as required.
*Travel may be required (approximately 20 - 50%) domestic and/or international.
Job Requirements
- Minimum educational degree (Desired): BS, BSc, BA or equivalent in relevant discipline - Medical Sciences; Training, Learning & Development, Education, Management, Psychology, HR or other.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a CRA
- Demonstrates the ICON competencies, including Leadership competencies
- Ability to work as part of a remote global team and to facilitate learning with diverse audiences
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and display an aptitude in training, facilitation and coaching skills
- Proven ability to work with Senior leadership
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral)
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently on global networked computers using current software applications
- Proven ability to work with Senior leadership
- Previous experience in design and development of self-paced online learning content would be an advantage
- Knowledge of current learning technologies and principles would be an advantage
