The Role

We seeking to hire a Senior Manager of threat detection & response to join their global security team. The success candidate will be delivery focused, have a strong technical background, be forward thinking and demonstrate a strong awareness for the current threat landscape. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the Organisation's security program and is expected provide guidance and expertise to team members and business stakeholders as well as contributing to influencing the Information Security program and budget.

Responsibilities

• Leading Global Security Threat Detection & Response Team
• Enhance Vulnerability Management Program
• Delivery of internal Cyber Security projects on time, on budget and in line with security standards
• Proven track record to deliver high security standards across an organisation
• Continuously improve the Organisation's Cyber Resilience
• Ensuring compliance with the organisation's Information Security policies and standards.
• Solid understanding of Cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA etc
• Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Ability to relate technical issues to non-technical associates / business owners
• Lead Security Assurance Team
• Conduct regular TTX (table top exercises)
• Enhance DLP, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Hunting Strategies
• Enhance Cyber Threat Intelligence Strategy
• Management of Security Providers
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of the current threat landscape.

Requirements

• At least 7 years in a related security role
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or another related program is desired
• Certifications: Relevant certs e.g. (ISC)2 CISSP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GCDA(distinct advantage)
• Familiar with the laws, regulations, industry standards and guidance pertaining to Data Protection and Information Security
