Overview of the Role:
- Build/network/talent pool of candidates. Deliver market intelligence/specific mapping projects for the business. This individual will ensure that they provide comparative levels of excellence in the field of executive research, client mapping, database management and candidate screening.
- Be a fundamental part of the team and must be passionate and driven to help deliver agreed recruitment services to the business in line with agreed service levels. This is a key role that requires a responsive and client facing individual.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's resourcing needs, external demographics and industry candidate markets globally to advise and guide internal customers and adapt and flex sourcing methods to assist in targeting the best talent.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and validity of the resourcing strategies, processes and campaigns to identify successes, adjusting as needed.
- Identify and network with key talent pools to actively headhunt passive candidates and generate pipeline for current and future roles, ensuring suitable tracking methods used to oversee future potential hires.
- Utilize appropriate telephone dialogue templates for passive candidates and to attract and ensure the right professional image of ICON is portrayed at all times. Full understanding of the role is essential to provide an overview to the candidate and in order to fully answer any questions.
- Review sourcing methods used and continue to adapt sourcing strategy to suit the needs of the role and identify new methods to use.
- Ensures adherence with all federal, state and local regulations governing the recruitment process including Affirmative Action.
- Develop analytics on the resourcing stream, producing meaningful data on pipeline, costing and sourcing performance.
- Adhere to direct hiring targets and KPI's to help reduce hiring costs and utilization of vendors.
- Work with Talent Acquisition Specialists to discuss key roles, understanding the specification of each vacancy and identify passive talent. Support specific deliverables on each role with clearly defined agreed timescales.
- Name gathering to fill qualified candidate pools using database mining techniques and networking to ensure quality candidates with required skill sets are placed into these pools.
- Can operate independently and successfully progress and manage own sourcing workloads to accommodate the priority pipeline.
- Attend relevant recruitment events/conferences.
- Attend wherever practical any face to face role briefings given by the business, actively participating in these meetings regarding candidate research methods, market conditions with relation to candidate sourcing etc.
Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience / or relevant experience of working as a successful Resourcer in a fast paced, professional environment with the ability to demonstrate key successes and cost savings attributed with role, preferably in an in-house role within the CRO/pharma industry.
- Proven ability to be pro-active in engaging stakeholders and candidates over the telephone and face to face.
- Experience communicating with and interviewing senior level candidates.
- Experience of producing documentation for senior stakeholders.
- Understand the headhunt/search methodologies more specifically around research strategies and screening.
- Experience of utilizing all relevant web and database resourcing methods as well as creative methods of directly sourcing skilled candidates in order to minimize the use of third party suppliers.
- Have a proactive and methodical approach with the ability to work to key targets, under pressure and within tight timelines with multiple vacancies to source.
- Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities successfully to work methodically, independently and accurately within a compliant and regulated business as part of a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence, experience of working with multiple stakeholders and all levels and build strong relationships, ability to listen and understand the needs of the business and candidates.
- Must have up-to-date knowledge of innovative and attraction & selection methodologies and strong track record of successfully networking externally with global experience as required.
- In-depth experience of using Taleo with PC proficiency including Microsoft Office and related packages.
- Demonstrates commitment to achieving required outcomes.
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree or local equivalent preferred.
