We are looking for a Senior Proposal Development Associate to join the leadership of a winning team rated by Forbes as one of America’s best employers for two years in a row!  The Senior PDA will support Business Development in the winning of new business for ICON;s Commercialisation and Outcomes business unit, including late phase / Real World Evidence and medical device studies.

About the Senior Proposal Development Associate role within ICON

The Senior PDA will organize and prepare high quality customer-focused proposals and budgets for the conduct of clinical trials. Lead and  prepare  complex  client  focused  proposals,  budgets  and  client  grids for new  business opportunities and ensure that the all required information is provided in the final proposal within given timeframe. Chair kick-off meetings and coordinate the participation of appropriate personnel in the proposal development process. The Senior PDA will set-up and participate in clinical proposal / operational strategy meetings for key/ non-key opportunities. Liaise with the appropriate  personnel  including  sales,  strategic proposal  development and operations throughout the  proposal  generation to ensure that the  proposal  and  strategy  meets the  business needs in line with triage priority. Also, assist with   continuous   departmental   process improvements   and participate   in   special   projects periodically assigned, in addition to day-to-day duties.

To succeed you will need:

You will need prior experience successfully performing the role of a proposal developer (a minimum of 2 years' experience for US only). Preferably experience with late phase or medical device proposals. Also, ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy  and  attention  to detail.
