Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

ICON is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will provide a consultative approach to key stakeholders ensuring recruitment strategies are well developed and executed, compliance maintained and effective recruitment metrics and key hiring objectives are met.

 

Overview of the Role:

As a TAS, you will build and manage relations with all internal and external stakeholders to provide a proactive customer service ensuring a positive image and awareness of the company is promoted at all times. You will be able to design innovative candidate attraction strategies to build candidate pipelines from within the marketplace in a cost effective manner. Develop strong awareness and understanding of the clinical research business and functional areas of responsibility to target and hire Level “A” talent. Work in partnership with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to provide guidance, support and recommendations on candidates during the screening, selection and on-boarding processes.


You will partner with the business & resourcing teams on forecasting talent gaps based on business demands to build proactive candidate pipelines. Develop and deliver regular requisition update reports and dynamic area of business dashboard metrics on Quality of Hire, and other key information. Develop and maintain pro-active and constructive relationships with senior levels of the HR department by demonstrating an understanding of the business, the associated requirements and managing expectations accordingly. Actively partner with the business to identify their talent pool and grow future successors, consider gaps when hiring. Create customer commercial value through talent acquisition strategies and the delivery of cost effective results.


TA Specialist help ensure efficiency in Time To Hire is maintained, while delivering a high level of accuracy within ICON’s Applicant Tracking System, Taleo. You will manage own workload to ensure best in class recruitment support, ensuring the most effective sourcing strategies to support an efficient cost per hire. Enhance and encourage awareness of internal referral program and where required, focused effort on diversity. Recommend, coordinate and participate in hiring events such as Job Fairs, external recruiting and other networking events.


Role Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a top performing recruiter (corporate or agency) with in depth amount of experience recruiting for Mid to Upper level positions and ability to manage high volumes of recruitment activity. Corporate talent acquisition experience is highly preferred. Exceptional customer service experience with demonstrated ability to effectively assess customers’ needs, quickly respond, prioritize competing priorities and problem solve. Flexibility of working with different time zones. Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent preferred.
