- Supporting the group finance team and wider finance teams in ensuring preparation for and application of new accounting standards (revenue, leasing and others).
- Supporting the group’s SOX and PCAOB compliance.
- Being proficient and comfortable in accounting technical research and interpretation across multiple GAAPs.
- Acting as a key liaison with external auditors and accounting advisors to ensure timely sign off on technical accounting matters.
- Providing accounting and regulatory guidance (both US GAAP & IFRS) to internal customers and stakeholders on key accounting matters impacting the business.
- An ability to monitor, analyse and communicate status of emerging accounting guidance and its potential impact on the group.
- An aptitude to build strong working relationship with business unit teams, general ledger finance, taxation and legal teams in identifying, analyzing and communicating accounting issues from new transactions or other activities.
- Collaborating with internal customers and stakeholders to develop & continually improve processes & systems for both financial and statutory reporting.
- Assisting as required in driving project related activity on acquisitions, changes in group structure and providing ad hoc accounting technical and commercial support across the wider finance teams.
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA with minimum 6 years PQE
- Fully conversant with accounting standards across multiple GAAPs.
- Experienced in a range of finance disciplines including e.g. corporate finance, regulatory reporting, taxation, and treasury.
- An ability to lead and implement development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, initiatives and processes.
- A confident, decisive person with strong interpersonal skills
- A team player with an ability to influence and negotiate.
- An accomplished professional who is tenacious and determined
- A dedicated individual with a willingness to listen and learn.
