Project Data Lead

About the Project Data Lead role within ICON: 

The Project Data Lead will be responsible for ensuring on time project management of all deliverables from the Data Management Group.  The Project Data Lead will represent Data Management at Kick-off, Charter and System Requirement Specification (SRS) team meetings and will review and provide input into Charter and SRS during creation.

The Project Data Lead will collaborate internally with our Clinical Project Managers. Clinical Data Programmers, and Systems Developers as well as external Sponsors and/or CRO’s to ensure all deliverables are in accordance with approved specifications.

In addition to managing deliverable timelines, primary responsibilities will include creating data edit check specifications, data delivery specifications, and data management test plans. Other duties include a quality review and loading of incoming clinical data, implementation of quality control procedures, and the investigation and resolution of data discrepancies.

To succeed you will need:

You will have a Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent along with a minimum of 2 years of Clinical Data Management along with strong analytic ability.  Good documentation, organizational, and communication skills is also essential.  Experience in mapping to SDTM domains is highly desirable.

Familiarity with SAS, SQL, and software development life cycles is a definite plus.
