Title: Director, Pricing & Market Access

Location: Los Angeles & East Coast area

This is an amazing opportunity for a Director, Pricing & Market Access that’s seeking to continue their path in this field.  The Director, Pricing & Market Access would recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.  As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

About the Director, Pricing & Market Access role within ICON:

The Director, Pricing & Market Access will support the Vice President in taking managerial responsibility for assigned clients of PriceSpective. Management of multiple project and client strategies, overall execution of all projects within those clients and revenue targets.  Responsible for meeting a defined business development target and leading proposal development in response to RFP’s.  Provide executive project and department overview and, in support of the Vice President, act as point of resolution on projects and resourcing issues.

To succeed you will need:

Bachelors’ degree, or local equivalent, in life sciences, business or related discipline, Masters preferred

US/LATAM/CAN:  minimum of 6 years of experience working in a health care/consultancy environment

EU/APAC:  In depth proven experience working in a health care/consultancy environment

Demonstrable experience of people management

Demonstrable experience of business development

Demonstrable experience of relevant scientific capability

Travel 20% - 30% domestic and/or international

Provide support to the Vice President in implementing business strategies

Act as part of the leadership team of PriceSpective

Provide strategic contribution in the planning and business development processes including proposals

Lead project delivery of medium to large sized domestic and international projects

Lead discussions with sensitive market stakeholders (payers, high-level KOL’s, high-level industry experts)
