Linguistic Resource Coordinator (Seoul, Korea)

ICON is a leading and respected global CRO providing drug development solutions to the Pharmaceutical; Biotechnology; and Medical Device industries.

As part of our continued expansion and investment into the Asia-Pacific region, we are currently looking to recruit a Linguistic Resource Coordinator to work from our Seoul, Korea office, within our Language Services’ department.

Role & Responsibility:

As a Linguistic Resource Coordinator you will hold responsibility for the identification, communication and resource management of language/translator talent, primarily in Korea however on occasions extending throughout our Asia-Pacific region.

Working as part of a global team you will identify and recruit talent to deliver our language services commitments.

Additionally you will be responsible for proofreading and quality checking for English>Korean medical/clinical translations, ensuring the quality of work produced.

Experience & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role you must have:

·         3+ years’ professional experience working as a translator (either freelance or in-house, or in a quality management role)

·         a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a Foreign Language

·         excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Korean, organization skills and a high attention to detail

·         ability to handle stressful situations and deadlines

·         excellent interpersonal skills
