About the Operations Senior Analyst role within ICON: 

The role of Operations is to support each service line in the areas of finance, revenue recognition, budgeting, contracting, compliance, quality assurance (QA) and other operational areas with a key focus toward reducing the burden of these tasks on client billable staff in order to maximize billable staff utilization rates.

The role of the Operations Senior Analyst is to assist the Vice President of Operations with financial and operational support of the service lines within CS&S.

Reinforces CS&S position as trusted partner to create business opportunities and deliver differentiated, high-value services. 

Recognized by clients as a positive differentiator for the business.

A key aspect of this role is to triage, coordinate, manage and facilitate execution of client/sponsor and vendor contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going projects.

In addition, developing, maintaining and revising reports tracking key metrics across CS&S in support of internal values and key management initiatives.

Provide analytical, reporting, coordination and management activities that are business critical to efficient operation of the CS&S business and increase utilization of billable staff

To succeed you will need the following but not limited to:

Associates degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience

Industry experience with operational department’s tasks and roles within the task as well as cost drivers

Provide high-quality and accurate support to enable business functioning and support creation and implementation of business plans.

Able to generate new or follow up on business with clients with help from senior management

Triage, coordinate, manage and facilitate execution of client/sponsor agreements and contracts including CDA for newly awarded and on-going projects.

Ensure all client rates, discount schedules and rebates are updated with finance and communicated to project and commercial teams.

Review contracts for compliance provisions and ensure QA and CTD systems are in place to operationalize these provisions within project teams.
