About the Senior Clinical Data Programmer role within ICON: 

The Senior Clinical Data Programmer will be responsible for extracting clinical data from eCRFs and preparing for Data Transfers to the Sponsor.  The Senior Clinical Data Program will prepare database queries and reports, create delivery programs, edit checks, and execute database change request.

As the technical resource and mentor for the development of junior staff the Senior Clinical Data Programmer will perform code review of colleagues work to ensure consistency and viability of logic and provide technical assistance for documentation efforts.

To succeed you will need:

You will have a Bachelors degree or local equivalent or equivalent work experience along with a minimum of minimum 4 years SQL programming experience.  Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and minimum of 2 years of SAS experience is preferred. Trained in Good Clinical Practices and computerized systems in Clinical Trials.  Must demonstrate good organizational, documentation and communications skills.
