- Assist in defining and implementing LIMS requirements following the Software Development Life Cycle process
- Assist with troubleshooting reported issues
- Assist in defining lab instrument interfaces and definitions
- Assist with training lab users
- Assist with writing LIMS documentation and help text
- Make recommendations as to ways to improve the LIMS and Lab processes

- Travel (up to 50%) domestic and/or international
- *Interact with Lab users to define and implement LIMS requirements such as, but not limited to, new tests, panels, calculations, reflexes and workflow.
- *Develop troubleshooting skills in order to support lab users on all aspects of the LIMS.
- Assist in the documentation and testing of all LIMS changes as per current ICON Software Development Life Cycle policies as appropriate.
- Participate in testing and validating LIMS changes where appropriate.
- Help provide basic training and documentation to lab users.
- Assist with lab instrument interfaces and definitions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by Management.

- Experience Required
- 2 years as a Medical technologist, Biomedical Scientist or Equivalent
- 1+ Years experience in implementing, maintaining or designing LIMS systems
- Other Requirements
- Knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- BS in Medical Technology degree preferred
- An alternative combination of experience, education and training may be determined by management to be equivalent to the foregoing
