Werken bij ICON in Assen
Als lab analist bij ICON werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe medicijnen en een beter leven voor patienten! In het bioanalytisch laboratorium in Assen zijn analisten dagelijks bezig met het analyseren van monsters en het verwerken van de resultaten. De monsters zijn afkomstig uit fase I en fase IIa studies uit onze kliniek in Groningen en uit verdere fases van het geneesmiddelenonderzoek van andere opdrachtgevers uit de hele wereld. Daarnaast hebben wij een QC afdeling dat zich bezighoudt met het analyseren van medicatie uit onze eigen apotheek. Bij ons krijg je de kans om te werken met verschillende technieken zoals LC-MS/MS, Flowcytometrie, ELISA en radioactieve Isotopen analyse.

Werken bij ICON in Groningen
In Groningen zit ons Klinisch chemisch lab en het Sample processing lab. Het Klinisch chemisch lab is verantwoordelijk voor het onderzoek van bloed- en urinemonsters inzake klinische chemie, hematologie, drug-screen, immunologie en stolling, ten behoeve van geneesmiddelenstudies. Op het Sample processing lab worden monsters (o.a. bloed, urine etc.) verwerkt nadat ze zijn afgenomen tijdens klinische studies. Volgens specifieke procedures worden de monsters verwerkt, opgeslagen en verzonden naar het bioanalytisch laboratorium voor verdere analyse.
