The Role:

• Ability to read and interpret client contracts and follow billing instructions independently
• Set-up and maintain accurate billing summaries in line with Contract or Change Order (Contract changes) budget
• Prepare and distribute invoices in accordance with the Contract terms in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform final reconciliation of billing budget trackers and close out project in line with Contracts and Operations feedback in a timely manner
• Ability to seek ways to streamline & improve current processes
• Analyze and interpret unbilled reports to prioritize billing and escalate issues accordingly
• Ability to independently influence others to escalate and follow issues to resolution
• Interface as needed with Project Managers, Contract Analysts and other departments to obtain up-to-date information on Contracts, Change Orders and billing related issues
• Foster strong customer service: respond to and resolve internal and external stakeholders inquiries and work with wider AR team to assist with resolution of billing issues that may impact collections
• Assume other reasonable related duties as may be assigned from time to time
• Shift work may be required at times based on business needs and markets supported

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business discipline or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in Contract billing, Accounting, Contracts.  Accounts Receivable experience may be considered
• Strong working knowledge of Excel functions
• Knowledge of Oracle is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of staff
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines
• A good level of independence is required as this is a role with remote management
