EmbRACE - Employee Resource Group
EmbRACE at ICON
EmbRACE is a community group supporting all race and ethnic backgrounds in creating an inclusive workplace culture. Our ambition is to build a culture that is inclusive, collaborative and accountable, supporting all our people and removing barriers that prevent them from doing their best work and being their true selves at ICON.
It's about starting conversations on sensitive issues that may seem uncomfortable at first but will drive positive change for all of us. Encouraging employees to “OWN” their responsibility to promote an equitable and safe work environment for all.

“When I joined ICON, I wanted to be part of a work culture that is inclusive, collaborative, and accountable, supporting all our people and removing barriers that prevent them from being their true selves. That is why I joined EmbRACE. It was here that I discovered the PRIDE group. I joined to learn more about ICON and their initiatives in the LGBTQ+ community. Being part of this community has allowed me to understand and appreciate the efforts ICON makes to support and celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals. It has been an enriching experience to see how ICON not only values diversity but actively promotes it, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. I am proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes inclusivity and respect for all.”

“As a working mother and woman of color, discovering the Embrace community ignited a profound sense of belonging that has since transformed my personal and professional growth. My active involvement in community groups has allowed me to contribute to promoting inclusivity and fostering support systems for parents with young children and underrepresented colleagues. Collaborating with fellow members, we've developed impactful platforms that catalyze diverse representation and significantly enhance the experiences of parents and their young children. ”
