Associate/Staff Scientist

As part of the antibody discovery group, this individual will perform an essential role to support early-stage discovery programs by purification and qualification of antibody samples. They will be expected to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of  laboratory equipment, and record work in detailed electronic notebooks.

• Plan, perform, analyze, and document laboratory experiments
• Prepare cell supernatants and purify antibody samples
• Buffer exchange, quality control and normalization of purified samples
• Troubleshoot and optimize purification workflows to improve their efficiency
• Maintain laboratory instruments and supplies

• Advanced degree in biology, biochemistry or related life sciences field highly preferred
• 1-2 years industry experience
• Knowledge and hands-on-experience with protein purification required
• Experience with liquid handling automation a plus
• Strong organization, communication, and computer skills
• Flexible and enthusiastic in a fast paced biotech
