Central Monitor

As a Central Monitor (Toxicology) you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

In this role you will be working fully sponsor-dedicated for a global immunology company with headquarters in the Ghent region. You will be shaping the future for patients in need of breakthrough differentiated medicines in the area of rare diseases.

We are looking for a monitor toxicology, who will be responsible for the oversight of the execution of the nonclinical studies that are conducted with the intent to submit them to regulatory agencies. Many of these studies are conducted at contract research organizations on behalf of our client under the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles as outlined in regulations.

For this role you will be office-based in our client's offices near Ghent, so ideally you will be located nearby or willing to travel to Ghent.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor all operational aspects of study initiation, conduct and close out of assigned non-GLP or GLP studies including preparation, execution and reporting of study monitoring visits.
• Support Toxicologist with data processing
• Present data generated for the assigned study during meetings
• Support management of study documentation filing
• Contribute to diligent review of study documentation including study (phase) plan, amendments and (phase) report.
• Support in authoring and maintenance of procedural documents.
• Quality Control

You are:

• a youg graduate with a degree (Masters or equivalent) in life sciences
• a researcher with some experience in in vivo work
• holding a first experience in the industry in a similar role
• Very organised, understand the importance of quality and good documentation
• a good computer expert
• enjoying to work in a multidisciplianary team and have great interpersonal skills
• Proactive and flexible
