We are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Procurement Associate at ICON, you will be responsible for supporting procurement strategies and ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services to support organizational goals.
What You Will Be Doing:
Supporting the development and execution of procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing of goods and services.
Assisting in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure comprehensive procurement processes.
Providing guidance and support to junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Contributing to the development of procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into procurement strategies.
Participating in cost-saving initiatives and ensuring the integrity and transparency of procurement activities.
Your Profile:
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Significant experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of successful sourcing and negotiation.
Proficiency in procurement tools and software, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective procurement strategies.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
