HR Manager Barcelona - Hybrid role (60% office based and 40% home based)

Our HR Managers are responsible for the delivery of HR Consulting Services by supporting people leaders who are aligned to business objectives.
The role:
Responsible for country compliance in Spain and Portugal markets: development, update and implementation of policy, handbooks and practices. Lead the delivery of local compliance specific requirements, e.g., equality gender plans, disability compliance and proactively driving upcoming changes.
Responsible for in country employee relations: driving positive employee relations, lead on disciplinary, grievances, support, managers with Performance Management activity.
Local benefit lead: collaboration with rewards team, benefit enhancements, efficiencies and harmonization.
Build strong relationships with key People Managers with teams within your countries of responsibility and participate in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives. Provide proactive HR consultation service and coaching to all People Managers advising them on all issues that arise in their teams.
Responsible for industrial relations: lead liaison with local Works Councils alongside local leader, communication, consultation and negotiation in line with HR strategy.
Support the implementation of people strategies and plans through the rollout of HR programs and through the provision of local country insight into the broader HR team.
Work closely with the HR Service Centre Team and other HR functions to ensure a smooth transition on local issues and ensure clarity on when the team should and over or escalate.
As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our process es adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international as required.
You will need:
HR generalist 5-10 years experience from any multinational corporation.
Candidates preferably from Services industry and experience with Spanish market.
Expertise in statutory compliance and labour legislation.
Stakeholder management experience.
Delivering presentations to the business teams.
Formal discussions/employee relations handling/Works Councils relationship management.
Excellent in communication in both Spanish and English oral and written.
