Lab Analyst III- Onsite, Lenexa, KS; Full Time

We are currently seeking a Lab Analyst III to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Lab Analyst III at ICON, you will be responsible for performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses to support complex clinical research studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory data, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations and methodologies.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Conducting advanced laboratory tests and analyses, following established protocols and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Documenting and interpreting complex test results, and providing detailed reports to support clinical research projects.
- Leading quality control activities, including equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and validation of laboratory processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize new laboratory methods and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
- Mentoring and training junior lab analysts, providing guidance on laboratory best practices and complex analytical techniques.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with expertise in advanced testing procedures and data analysis.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining complex laboratory equipment and software for data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years experience working experience with ELISAs, ELLAs, plated based bioassays assays, OR Ligand Binding Assays
- Method Development Experience
- Validation Experience
- Familiarity with MSD
- Document Review
