We are currently seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, Clinical Operations at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of clinical trials, ensuring that they are conducted efficiently, on time, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will contribute to the advancement of innovative therapies through strategic leadership in operational planning and management of clinical study teams.
What You Will Be Doing:
Dedicated People Leader (Direct or Indirect) for the local ICON Medical Imaging and Cardiac Safety Solutions (IMC) Operations team that includes Project Assistants, Project Managers, Clinical Data Analysts, Site Support Specialists, and Imaging Specialists as determined by the country team size and structure.
Provide effective management support through your aligned team to deliver a high performing culture including managing attrition, development and engagement of the operational group.
Carrying out all relevant People Leadership responsibilities including performance assessments, goal setting and development plans.
Managing the local clinical operations team by empowering and coaching them to deliver their key objectives.
Collaborate with Operations leaders with IMC to drive performance, align to business goals and ensure on-site support in Mexico City office.
Your Profile:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, project management, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP) are preferred.
Extensive experience required in clinical research, pharmaceutical industries and/or project management
Supervisory experience required, 3 years’ experience minimum as a line manager
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced English Level (Speaking, written and reading)
