We are currently seeking a Manager, Patient Recruitment to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, Patient Recruitment at ICON, you will lead and manage awarded client work by being accountable for the development of Patient Recruitment and Retention (PRR) tactic and strategies appropriate to the individual study needs and in alignment with sponsor requirements and for the handover of these tactic / strategies to the clinical team for the execution at a state appropriate for the individual study.
What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for study and PRR campaign specific training; liaising with internal stakeholders where required
Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People Clients and Performance.
Expert knowledge of applicable ICON & Accellacare SOPs, ICH-GCP and applicable regulations
Expert knowledge of applicable Accellacare & ICON systems
Reporting on team and study PRR deliverables
Lead the development of training materials to support PRR, ASN and/or call center operations (Specific to department)
As needed provide oversight to more junior members of staff assigned to the study, this includes but not limited to delegation of tasks and ensuring accountability.
Communicate performance indicators of the department: number of leads, number of calls made, conversion rates to telescreen and booking, screen fail rate etc.
Ensure the integrity of the patient database(s) by performing quality control through automated reporting
As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs
Travel (approximately20%) domestic and/or international. Travel to other sites within the network may be required to support increases in workload and, or studies/projects as needed.
Support, preparation and attendance at Bid Defense meetings in support ICON business development opportunities.
Attendance at Kick-off meetings, project meetings as required to input into and discuss recruitment and retention strategies.
Deliver high quality standards and strive for excellence; Act in a proactive, flexible and responsive manner to both internal and external customer needs
To undertake other reasonably related duties as my be assigned
from time to time
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in laboratory sciences, biology, or a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in patient recruitment
Proven experience in managing patient recruitment operations, including staff supervision, workflow optimization, and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in operations, with a focus on compliance and safety.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality laboratory services.
